Chantelle Torrey

Hi there!
I am a firm believer that we’re always where we are supposed to be, and there’s no coincidence that you’re here right now. Whether you know me personally or not, you’re here reading this for a reason. We are all on a journey through life, and though all of our paths are different, we’re all in it together. We all have something of value within us that we can offer to others. In sharing our love and gifts we form bonds, and send out this love into the universe, which is what I think life is all about.

In 2015, I was the lowest I’ve ever been, and I knew that if I didn’t make a change I was going to continue to live miserably, or die. I was addicted to drugs and alcohol, severely depressed with crippling anxiety, living out of my mom’s basement and my only goal in life was just to make it to the next day. I knew something had to change, or I wasn’t going to make it.

In 2016, after 14 years of addiction, I gave up the drugs and alcohol, went vegan, saved up as much as I could and moved across the country. I’ve been working hard and living simply, and just trying to be a better person than I was yesterday. Sobriety has been the hardest thing - mentally - I’ve gone through so far in my life. The highs are extremely high, and the lows can be scary low. I know it is worth it though, because for the first time in many years, I feel like I have purpose.

I want to help others who might be going through the same things as me. I can relate so much to people going through the struggles of daily life and want everyone to know that we’re not alone in this! We are all capable, worthy and beautiful human beings with a purpose to love and help others.

Things that are extremely important to me are: living a cruelty-free lifestyle through veganism, minimalism, traveling (especially as a solo female), environmental consciousness, sustainable weight loss through a whole foods, plant based diet, law of attraction, natural lifestyle and spiritual growth. I will also share on my experiences with addiction, mental illness, and eating disorders, and how I’m coping with them present day.

I want to take you on this journey with me. My Basic Journey through this thing we call life, and we can help each other get through it. I will share everything I’ve learned along the way and invite you to share too. Remember, we all have something of value to share, and love to give.
I love you.
